Osman Nasir is a technology and digital economy strategist. He has built the National Digital Economy Roadmap for Pakistan, focusing on projects to digitally transform the Capital Markets, National Retirement Funds, SME Sector, Agriculture, Real Estate, and enabling the frontier technology inclusion in economic development. This model was contributed to the Asian Development Bank's national digital economy roadmap study for Pakistan. As the Chief Group Advisor at the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP), he is spearheading the adoption of frontier technologies—combining AI, Robotics, and Fintech to build interoperable frameworks for national digitization. Previously, as Managing Director of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Osman architected the National IT Export Enhancement Framework and founded the national technology brand program 'TECH destiNATION PAKISTAN', driving an 80% growth in IT exports from $1.4B to $2.67B in just two years. His vision for inclusive growth led to the establishment of 19 new Software Technology Parks in smaller cities, fueling a 145% surge in new tech companies. Osman is a member of the Board of Directors for Pakistan’s first fully licensed digital wealth management company, Mahaana Wealth. Osman is a certified Amazon Web Services Cloud practitioner. Osman has completed Blockchain strategy courses from MIT Sloan School of Business, he holds an MBA focused on International Business from Cardiff Business School and a technology bachelor's degree from Pakistan. Consulted for the Asian Development Bank, USAID's Investment Promotion Activity, and a FCDO Technology Investments Plan with PwC.
